French Crepes making

In this workshop which can be taught in French and in English, students (Grade Kindergarten, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) will learn how to prepare and cook Authentic French Crepes. In this hands on workshop the students will measure ingredients and prepare the batter. They will also learn how to cook them and enjoy eating them. Part of the class will also introduce some of the historical background. Students will also express preferences. The students will be introduced to a healthy way of eating and some facts concerning organic food.

Chocolate Truffles (nuts free)

In this workshop, which can be taught in French and in English, students (Grade k, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) will learn how to prepare authentic French Chocolate Truffles. In this very hands-on workshop, the students will learn some historical fact regarding the origins of the chocolate, where it is coming from and how it s looking like in it’s raw form and how it has been transform as the treat is most well known today. They will learn how to work the chocolate and experiment with different coating. At the end of the process, they will be able to taste it an and express their preferences. Students will also practice the related French vocabulary. The students will be introduced the importance of using healthy ingredients and some facts concerning organic food.

La Tire St Catherine (Candy making)

In this workshop, which can be taught in French and in English, students (Grade 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) will learn how to prepare authentic French-Canadian Candy. In this very hands-on workshop, the students will measure ingredients and prepare the mix. They will learn how to work the sugar and transform it into delicious candy. At the end of the process, they will cut the candy and package them nicely to share. Part of the class will also introduce some of the historical background. Students will also practice the related French vocabulary. The students will be introduced the importance of using healthy ingredients and some facts concerning organic food.

Home made butter/ Boursin cheese

In this workshop, which can be taught in French and in English, students (K, grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and High school) will learn how to make Authentic homemade butter and French traditional Boursin cheese. In this hands on workshop the students will measure ingredients and actively make butter the traditional way and incorporate it in the cheese making process. They will enjoy eating it. Part of the class will also introduce some of the historical background. Students will also express preferences. The students will be introduced to a healthy way of eating some facts concerning organic food.

Traditional Belgian waffles

In this workshop which can be taught in French and in English, students (K, grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and High school) will learn how to prepare and cook Authentic French/Belgian waffles. In this hands on workshop the students will measure ingredients and prepare the batter will also learn how to cook them and enjoy eating them.
